How long does it take to make a rubber stamp? Engraved products?
Rubber stamps usually take 1-2 days to make. Engraving generally takes 3-5 days.
What is the difference between a self-inking stamp and a pre-inked rubber stamp?
A self-inking stamp inks itself by a mechanical means that flips the die back up into the handle and presses it into its own ink pad, and then delivers the die back to the page to be stamped. Pre-inked stamps are filled with ink and simply pushing down on the surface delivers the image to the page.
What is a pre-inked or FLASH stamp?
A FLASH stamp is a pre-inked stamp, made by the use of a high intensity flash of light that imprints the image onto the die. FLASH stamps produce a finer image that most other stamps and are somewhat more expensive than earlier versions of pre-inked stamps.
Do we make customized stamps with logos?
Yes, we make customized stamps with logos.
What color inks can I get?
Inks come in 5 colors - black, red, blue, green, and purple.
How long will a stamp last?
Regular, pre-inked and self-inking stamps typically last for many thousands of impressions. Depending on use and environment, most customers will enjoy their stamps for 5-10 years.
What ink can I use for photographs?
Photographs have a shiny and less adhering surface and require a faster drying ink. We recommend Mark II Quick Drying Ink for photos.
Can I get new dates for my dater stamp?
Some daters have replacement bands - contact us for further information.
Can I get a stamp with a signature on it?
Yes, we make signature stamps. This requires an original signature in black on plain white paper to properly reproduce as a signature stamp.
Do we make name tags?
Yes, we make many types and sizes of name tags. They can be virtually any color, engraved or lasered, printed or etched. Contact us for more information on tags. We also make name plates for doors and desk tops.
Can I get metal engraved?
We engrave some metals. Contact us for more information on your application.
How big a sign can I get engraved?
We can engrave signs up to 24 inches by 48 inches.
Do you make stencils? How big?
Yes, we make stencils. The largest we make is 24 inches by 48 inches.
How do I order a stamp? An engraved sign, nametag?
You can order by phone, fax, email, on the website or in-person.
Do you do trophy plaques?
Yes, we can engrave trophy plaques.
